East Islip High School

Principal's Message – September 2017

Dear Students and Parents:

As we begin the 2017-2018 school year, I would like to welcome you back to the East Islip High School community. All of us here at the high school look forward to working in cooperation with students, parents and faculty in maintaining the high level of academic excellence that has become the hallmark of an East Islip High School education.

I am happy to report that the 2017-2018 school year is off to a very good start. Our students are settling into their classes and are hard at work learning the various curriculums. Our sports teams are competing at a high level and would appreciate the support of our fans. Therefore, I encourage you to come out and show your “EI Pride” by supporting our teams. In addition, many of our clubs have begun their meetings and are already planning exciting activities for the year.

Throughout the school year, our district website will be updated daily with important news and stories about all the wonderful things happening throughout our district. This is a great resource for parents and students to keep informed about all of the activities taking place at our schools and around the district. In addition, in our effort to “Go Green,” most correspondences will be placed in the virtual backpack to reduce paper waste and mailing costs. Therefore, please add our page to your favorites and visit us often!

Once again, I would like to wish everyone a great school year.  I look forward to working in collaboration with the parents and faculty to ensure the success of our students.

Sincerely,

William J. Brennen
Principal
