Buddies Club: If you would like to join the Buddies Club this year, please stop by Room 225 and pick up a permission slip.

: There will be an informational meeting for the Family and Consumer Science Club on Wednesday, Oct. 18 in Room 102 at 2:35 p.m.

FTK Carnival: Tickets for the FTK Carnival will be sold during lunch periods on Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20. The advance purchase ticket price is $22 ($30 at the Carnival). The Carnival will be held on Friday, Oct. 20 from 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 21 from 12-7 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1-5 p.m.

Immunization Requirements
: Students entering seventh grade in 2017 must have proof of having the meningococcal vaccine. Details here. The immunization requirements for incoming sixth-graders can be found here.

National Junior Honor Society: The first NJHS meeting will be on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7:15 a.m. in the chorus room. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Henderson or Mrs. D’Aversa before or after school.
Newspaper Club: The club meets every Thursday, after school in Room 116. At this time, the club is full. See Mrs. Avella to get on the waiting list..
Peer Tutoring: Members of the Leaders Club and National Junior Honor Society who like helping others and are interested in gaining meaningful ongoing community service hours, please see Mrs. Zeffiro in Room 217 about becoming a sixth-grade homework club peer tutor.

PTA Reflections Contest: The PTA is looking for a new Reflections theme for next year. All submissions have to be in by Wednesday, Oct. 19. You can win $100 if your theme makes it all the way to New York State PTA. For all other Reflections dates, please contact the PTA.

Renaissance Club: Are you interested in joining Renaissance Club this year? Would you like to learn what it’s about? If so, please attend a brief informational meeting which will be held on Monday, Oct. 23 at 2:35 p.m. in Room 117. Bring a friend. All are welcome!

Spanish Club: For any student who is interested in learning more about the Spanish culture through music, dance, art, food and projects, this club is open to all grades middle school. New members are welcome. Meetings are once a month. The first informational meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 2:40-3:20 p.m. in Room 101.
